About me
Tracey Servé founded Crescent Educational Consultants to extend her passion for student agency and community-building, creating a broader impact beyond the classroom. Over her 16 years in the classroom, Tracey has developed a philosophy centered on building student agency over their learning and fostering meaningful collaboration between families and educators.
One of Tracey’s most rewarding teaching experiences has been the creation of Project AAA (Agency, Advocacy, and Action), where students identified real-world issues, created advocacy plans, and took action. This project not only helped students meet academic standards but also empowered them to become engaged, confident change-makers in their communities. The personal growth and sense of belonging her students developed during this project was beyond what direct instruction or organized team building could have fostered.
Since early 2023, Tracey has consulted with families to bridge communication gaps, particularly between neurotypical parents and neurodivergent children. This has allowed them to better support their children and advocate for their educational needs. She’s also partnered with educational nonprofits in Chicago on change management, instructional coaching, and curriculum design, helping shape inclusive and effective learning environments. She is currently co-writing her first professional development book, Agency Based Curriculum.
As a veteran educator, neurodivergent former “gifted kid”, and mother of two, Tracey offers a unique perspective that helps her connect deeply with learners, fostering growth and empowerment in ways that are unique to her.
