During this interactive session, we will share resources and model teaching strategies that support
educators in meeting Illinois Teaching Inclusive History Mandates and that help educators create
democratic learning environments where students are able to grapple with the complex histories,
choices, and actions of individuals, groups, and institutions in the past and present. This session is
intended for secondary (grades 6-12) Social Studies and History educators.
